Android or iOS? Mobile Applications Development is NOT the Future it’s the NOW!

When I was asked in a meeting with the head of Mobile Apps Development which my favourite Apps were, the first things that came to mind were the silly little game apps or apps to make lists or find my phone with but he was like 'Well check out your usage on your phone'….He added 'I mostly use Safari'….. we then compared Apps usage and we both used the same banking App, and other social media apps Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc…..The penny dropped...

Not that surprising really…we’re users of Apps on a daily basis whether the device we choose is Android or iOS….they’re a BIG part of everyday life - useful, fun, social or whatever…and very clever.

It's a mobile world....and it's never been this exciting as this fascinating domain just keeps exploding.

New Zealand mobile usage has sky rocketed to 2.5 million users, over half of the country (NZ population is 4.41 million) in the 12 months ended June 30 compared to a year earlier (Statistics New Zealand - Annual Internet Service Provider Survey).
